Former Fox News host and podcaster Bill O’Reilly has some really important advice that President Donald Trump needs to hear.
O’Reilly delivered the message while appearing on conservative Laura Ingraham’s popular radio show.
“This morning, I got up early to see if there was any coverage of Kate’s Law being voted on in the House — and it will pass [it did]… So when President Trump — and I understand his frustration… and your tendancy is to lash out. The problem is he is the president. And when he does it, he gives the progressive left a chance to roll their eyes,” O’Reilly told Ingraham. “If I was advising President Trump I would tell him that nobody cares about Morning Joe… who cares? So they said bad things about you? So what? Tweet about Kate’s Law. Tweet about the new health law. That’s why I think Trump still has a little maturing to do in office.”
Ingraham agreed and went on to explain that politicians often call their efforts to stay on message, “message discipline,” and that the President needs to work harder to stay disciplined.
“Message discipline. That’s what we caled it in the Reagan administration. It was rigorous. We had message discipline every day. Whatever the message of the day was, every cabine that was relevant reenforced it. And it forced the media to at least give us some coverage. But you can’t give the media shiny objects to chase,” she told O’Reilly.
It’s good advice. President Trump – for the good of your administration, for the good of your efforts, for the good of your nation… PLEASE stay on message.
